Tecnologias digitais para o auxílio do cuidado do paciente com ostomia: uma revisão de escopo

O manejo de colostomias e ileostomias é desafiador, com risco de infecções e significativo desconforto. A saúde digital pode contribuir para a vivência de pacientes nesse contexto. O objetivo é mapear as tecnologias digitais, abordando o auxílio aos pacientes com ostomia. Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo com os descritores “eHealth”, “mobile app”, “platform”, “telehealth”, “ostomy”, “patient”, “care” e outros. Foram incluídos 24 estudos, predominantemente internacionais, publicados entre 2013 e 2023. Aplicativos móveis e videoconferências foram as tecnologias mais frequentes, principalmente para atendimento virtual. Os achados indicam as tecnologias digitais como ferramentas emergentes para o autocuidado do paciente ostomizado, com ênfase em atendimento virtual e educação. O contexto brasileiro carece de produtos nacionais para atendimento remoto, e há necessidade de mais estudos que incorporem a perspectiva do paciente na elaboração dessas soluções.
